Improvising reed player Steve Baczkowski plays a solo set and chats.

MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:  A favorite of the RAF during World War I, the Depth Bomb:  pour 1 oz. each of Brandy and Laird's Bonded Apple Brandy, with 2 teaspoons of lemon juice and 1 teaspoon of Grenadine, into an ice-filled cocktail shaker.  Shake.  Strain into a chilled Martini glass or coupe.
